Grunge-Hop

It has been a while since Pearl Jam’s Ten came out, but you don’t have to look far to see the derivatives of that album in the current musical landscape. To celebrate the re-release, MTV has compiled a number of covers of the songs by current artists. As I’ve covered Doomtree and interviewed P.O.S. over here at Evolving Music, I found it only fitting to share with you this super MixMatch he did of Pearl Jam’s “Why Go.” It’s grunge, it’s hip-hop, it’s improv, it’s dope. Enjoy.

That fuckin sucks dud try to actually noty mix rap with fuckin, rap man I’m grunge and that’s offensive to teh senses, believe me I listened to their music for over 10 years and I’m just eighteen. Man look try somehting with a guitar andthen take the boom boom room out type deal and add a little heavy traditional methodcal version no other person has heard before with some more heavey drums not whew u need to work on it buddy if you wanna beat Someone with guns like Pearljam Iv’e been tryin to do the same damn thing and I’m just half way done with my first song. Shadyman – While I’d like to see your point, I’m honestly having trouble following you…your paragraph here didn’t make a whole lot of sense. But I certainly don’t see anything offensive to the senses in any area where two genres are mashed-up. Even if I don’t particularly like the mash-up musically, it’s the adventure of hearing how someone joins two very distinct sounds into one coherent piece. Cheers.

When I look at your blog in Chrome, it looks fine but
when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, superb blog!
